Tishan Wijesooriya is the founder of Buono Cafe and Buono Coffee Academy, bringing years of hands-on experience in the coffee industry to both ventures. As a certified SCA Authorized Trainer, he holds a professional-level qualification in the Barista Skills program, reflecting his deep technical expertise and commitment to industry standards. Beyond his work at Buono, Tishan is a sought-after resource person and guest lecturer, sharing his knowledge and passion for coffee with aspiring baristas and industry professionals alike.

Praveen Jawager brings over 10 years of experience in barista training, café management, and coffee education. He currently serves as Barista Trainer at Buono Coffee Academy and Manager of Cafe Buono, bringing a wealth of hands-on expertise to both roles. A two-time National Barista Championship finalist, he was 1st Runner-Up for the Central Region in 2018 and Dambulla Regional Champion in 2022. Holding SCA Barista Skills qualifications up to Professional level, along with Brewing Intermediate certification, Praveen reflects a strong technical foundation and a proven track record in competitive specialty coffee.
